Salome is the daughter of Herod II and Herodias. Herod II is the son o fKing Herod the great and Mariamme and Herod Antipater was son of the same King Herod the great and Malthace so they are half brothers. Herodias left her husband Herod II and married Herod Antipater who was ruling Galilee and Perea as client states for the Roman Empire in 6 AD to 39 AD.John the Baptist accused Herodias of divorcing herself from her husband Herod II while he was alive,and marrying his half brother Herod Antipater and this he told as it was forbidden by Moses.So Herodias got him jailed.and as she was not satisfied used her daughter Salome's beauty and dancing skill to Antipater who lusted her as she knew got her to dance and get John Baptist killed and his head was given in a silver platter to Salome and the Incestous manipulative queen Herodias who was satisfied.John the Baptist had baptised Jesus in the New Testament mentioned in all Matthew,Mark.Luke and John Gospels of New Testament.
